Columbia Credit Union, Vancouver, Wash.,elected incumbents Phil Andrews, JohnDingethal and Chuck McDonald to the boardof directors, while Lowell McDougal andMartin Oreschnigg assumed roles on the supervisorycommittee. The elected volunteers will help the credit union reachprojected goals for growth and standards of service.

Wauna Federal Credit Union, Clatskanie, Ore.,career advancement program, an initiative that focuses on promotingemployees within the organization, has selected Loan Officer andMember Service Representative Jennifer Ramsey asits first participant. Ramsey will be enrolled in a program thatallows employees to acquire the skills and experience necessary tofulfill desired roles within the organization. Her enrollment wassecured through an application process in which a committeereviewed Ramsey's intentions for the program. Graduation from theself-paced course is contingent upon Ramsey's completion ofexternal and internal training programs as well as job shadowingand working with mentors. The credit union also announced that St.Helens Branch Manager Christie Kiggins wasinducted into the 2010-2012 Regional Workforce Investment Boardwhere she will oversee worker education and training.
