Wauna Federal Credit Union, Clatskanie, Ore.,career advancement program, an initiative that focuses on promotingemployees within the organization, has selected Loan Officer andMember Service Representative Jennifer Ramsey asits first participant. Ramsey will be enrolled in a program thatallows employees to acquire the skills and experience necessary tofulfill desired roles within the organization. Her enrollment wassecured through an application process in which a committeereviewed Ramsey's intentions for the program. Graduation from theself-paced course is contingent upon Ramsey's completion ofexternal and internal training programs as well as job shadowingand working with mentors. The credit union also announced that St.Helens Branch Manager Christie Kiggins wasinducted into the 2010-2012 Regional Workforce Investment Boardwhere she will oversee worker education and training.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Manhattan Beach,Calif., announced the promotion of Brian Robinett,the former first vice president, mortgage lending operations.Robinett will go on to serve as senior vice president, chief creditofficer and will be responsible for overseeing mortgage, consumerand business lending as well as credit policy and loan servicing.Robinett is an experienced former employee of HomeComings FinancialNetwork and First Franklin Financial Corp. and holds a bachelors ofscience in finance from Santa Clara University.

CO-OP Financial Services, Rancho Cucamonga,Calif., announced the election of Doug Allman aschairman of the board of directors at the organization. Allman,president/CEO of NASA Federal Credit Union, served as a member onthe board for six years and has held positions on other committeesand organizations at the Credit Union Mortgage Association and theDepartment of Justice Federal Credit Union. Allman holds an MBAfrom George Washington University and a BS from the University ofNorth Carolina.

Heritage Federal Credit Union, Newburgh, Ind.,elected three members to the board of directors at the creditunion's annual meeting. More than 400 members attended to watchDonald F. Bowen, Joseph J.Seibert and William H. Yockey re-electedto the board and hear reports from President/CEO Ruth Gaon.

Advance Financial Federal Credit Union,Schererville, Ind., veteran employee Alfred Tracyannounced his retirement from the credit union's board of directorsafter 15 years of service. During his employment, Tracy served asdirector, treasurer and vice chairman. The organization honored himwith a retirement dinner, commemorative memory box and an engravedplaque.

Greater Minnesota Credit Union, Mora and Isle,Minn., employees Linda Thiele and StaciNorby, who have served with the credit union for 20 yearsand 17 years respectively, have been elevated to the status ofbranch manager at two separate locations. Thiele, who will overseethe Isle office served in many different roles throughout hercareer including teller, loan officer and administrative positions.Norby was transferred to the Mora office and served in many thesame capacities as Thiele. Most recently Norby held the position ofsenior loan officer.

Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union, Rocky Hill,Conn., promoted Lisa Asadourian to vice presidentof marketing. Asadourian was elevated from her former position ofdirector or marketing, which she held for 10 years. Her newresponsibilities will include an emphasis on increasingparticipation and activity from existing members as well asexpanding the involvement of the organization itself within thecommunity. Asadourian holds a BA in English and philosophy from theUniversity of Connecticut.

United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union,Tinton Falls, N.J., re-elected Ann C. Weingartnerand Randall F. Wiehs to its board of directors.The election marked the beginning of Weingartner's three-year term,as Treasurer at the credit union, where she has served in numerouscapacities for 40 years. Wiehs will assume the role of secretary.He began work with the credit union in 1996 and was named chairmanof the supervisory committee three years later.

Bronco Federal Credit Union, Hampton Roads,Va., employee Wendy Pulley was selected asemployee of the quarter for the last part of 2009. Pulley, who hasworked with the credit union for four years, was rewarded with acertificate of recognition and her own personal parking space.Nominations for the award come directly from the credit union'sstaff and the winner is selected by a committee.

Security Service Federal Credit Union, McAllen,Texas, announced that Robert Chamberlain hasjoined the staff at the credit union's newest location as servicecenter manager. Chamberlain will oversee cash operations, memberservice and facility maintenance at the service center. With morethan 13 years of experience in the financial services industry,Chamberlain earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from theUniversity of Texas Pan American and has held managerial positionsat Wells Fargo Bank.
