The CUNA Technology Council is now offering a new report on remote deposit capture.

The 28-page white paper looks at application development and deployment, including such points as business rationale, eligibility criteria and deposit limits, image correction concerns, hardware and software issues, vendor partnerships and fraud considerations.

The report also profiles the RDC deployment experience of Sandia Laboratory FCU in New Mexico, WV United FCU in West Virginia, Alliant CU in Illinois and Randolph Brooks FCU in Texas.

The white paper-authored by veteran Madison, Wis., writer Karen Thompson and titled "Remote Deposit Capture: Thinking Out of the Branch to Better Serve Members"-is free to CUNA Council members and $50 to non-members. It's available at www.cunacouncils.org.
