First Citizens' Federal Credit Union,Fairhaven, Mass., announced the promotions of MaureenSylvia to assistant vice president, loan operations andEvelyn Vieira to assistant treasurer, consumerlending administrator. The credit union also announced thatEleanor Weller, Cape Area mortgage originator,received the ambassador of the year award by the Cape Cod CanalRegion Chamber of Commerce.

DATCU Credit Union, Denton, Texas, dedicatedits newly remodeled board room to former board member MaryS. Thibodeaux at its 74th annual meeting. Thibodeauxjoined the board in 1991, serving in every position from secretaryto chairman until her death in 2007. Her husband, Alton Thibodeaux,who also served on the board of directors, was present at thededication ceremony.

Share One Credit Union, Memphis, Tenn.,announced that Robert Michael, president/CEO ofCORE CU in Statesboro, Ga., Roger Early,president/CEO of Northern Star CU in Portsmouth, Va., andChuck Bumbarger, president/CEO of University CU inLos Angeles, will serve on the CUSO's board of directors. WhileEarly and Bumbarger were re-elected to their seats that were opendue to term limits, Michael will fill the seat vacated by retiredboard member Charlie Carpenter.

Redstone Federal Credit Union, Huntsville,Ala., announced the election of board members. Charles L.Ray Jr., Dorothy Huston, andSteve Fisher were elected to three year terms onthe volunteer board of directors.

BayPort Credit Union, Newport News, Va.,announced the election of Suzanne M. Beckstofferas chairman of the board at its board of directors' reorganizationmeeting. She replaces Pamela J. Rowe, who steppeddown from the chairmanship after 13 years of service. Rowe remainson the board serving as first vice-chairman. Beckstoffer waselected to the credit union's board of directors in 1992 andpreviously served as first vice chairman. Additionally,Donald E. King was elected second vice chairman;Mary A. Campbell was elected secretary/treasurer;and Theodore L. Stewart Sr. was elected assistantsecretary at the meeting.

Catholic Federal Credit Union, Saginaw, Mich.,appointed Janet Lichon to the supervisorycommittee. Lichon will serve with board members Joseph DeFrancesco,Carl Jaenicke, Jose Salinas and Lee R. Scheib. The credit unionalso promoted Mindy Wolpert, a staffer with 30years experience in the banking industry, to senior loan officer.Kristy Fila, a 14-year teller and receptionist,has also been promoted to Essexville office branch manager. AndKatie Knippel will assume the role of call centersupervisor. Knippel has been with the credit union for fiveyears.

Heritage Federal Credit Union, Newburgh, Ind.,promoted Timothy Coudret to manager of supportoperations. Coudret most recently held the position of informationcenter supervisor at Heritage and formerly served as customerservice and sales supervisor at Insight Communications. He holds abachelors of science degree from the University of Southern Indianain business administration.

DuTrac Community Credit Union, Dubuque, Iowa,held its 63rd annual meeting and announced that ChristopherDibbern, Harlan Pedretti andDonald Pfohl have been re-elected to three-yearterms and that Michael Ready was re-elected for aone-year term. The following officers were also elected:Kelan Manning, chief financial officer andtreasurer, Russell Kuennen, chairman,Linda MacDonald, secretary. Pfohl will serve asvice chairman.

Marine Credit Union, La Crosse, Wis., announcedthat Peg Lamb has joined its executive managementteam as chief financial officer. Lamb has over 30 years ofexperience working for financial institutions. She most recentlyheld the same position at CapCom Credit Union in Lansing, Mich.,where she worked for 10 years.

Desert Schools Financial Services LLC, Phoenix,a wholly owned subsidiary of Desert Schools Federal Credit Union,has elevated Susi Bennett to serve as its newchief operating officer. Bennett will report to CEO Becky Nilsen.Bennett's career at Desert Schools FCU began nearly 20 years ago asa branch manager. Since then, she served in a variety of rolesincluding senior director of training and, most recently, assistantvice president of consumer lending.
