Robert H. Harvey Jr., president/CEO of the $544 million Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union and the former chairman of WesCorp, is retiring next April.

Harvey, whose industry service stretches 27 years, is a past chair of the Washington Credit Union League and the African American Credit Union Coalition. A successor at Seattle Metro has not been named, said the CU.

He joined the Seattle CU in 1992 after previously serving as both vice president of loans and operations at Lockheed FCU in Burbank, Calif. where he began his CU career in 1983.
