Local Government Federal Credit Union, Raleigh, N.C., announced the re-election of Bill Coward, Frances Efird and Paul Miller to its board of directors. Coward has been a credit union member since 1991 and was elected to the board of directors in 1998. Efird has been a member since 1994, serving on the board since 1995. Miller joined the board in 2000. In addition to his reappointment, Miller was also named board chairman. Board member Al Richardson was named vice chairman, and Ruth Barnes and Ann R. Suggs were renamed to their positions of treasurer and secretary, respectively.

Advance Financial Federal Credit Union, Schererville, Ind., announced the retirement of Alfred Tracy from its board of directors after 15 years of service as director, treasurer and vice chairman. Service First Federal Credit Union, Sioux Falls, S.D., announced the hiring of Heath Ihnen as mortgage loan processor. The CU also announced the hiring of Paul Geppert as mortgage loan underwriter and Brandon Wipf as business services officer.

Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union, Van Nuys, Calif., announced its 2010 board of directors, in addition to a newly appointed chairman and three new directors. The board selected Daniel Duran to serve as chairman. Newly appointed directors were Lorie Taylor, Andre Plummer and Cliff Ruff.
Columbia Credit Union, Vancouver, Wash., announced the hiring of Brad Bauges as its new senior vice president/chief operations officer. Prior to joining the credit union, Bauges was the vice president of branch services for Texas Dow Employees Credit Union. Bauges holds a bachelor's degree in business management from the Oregon Institute of Technology and a master's degree in marketing from the University of Phoenix.

Tenhundfeld has a broad range of insurance knowledge and management experience that will be beneficial to the company's expansion. Barber is managing director of the Catalyst Resource Group Inc. and president of Catalyst/Cambridge Healthcare Finance in Los Angeles. He has been affiliated with Cambridge as the company's West Coast correspondent since 1996. Barber is a graduate of Loyola University in Los Angeles with a bachelor of science degree in accounting and economics.
