The Missouri Credit Union Association is looking to hire a replacement for its retiring president/CEO, Roshara Holub, within the next 90 days, according to the group's chairman, Stan Moeckli of St. Louis.
Holub, a past chairman of the American Association of Credit Union Leagues, had announced her year-end retirement plans in December 2009 with the MCUA leadership undertaking a national search earlier this year hiring D. Hilton & Associates, the Dallas recruiting firm.
Nationally, Holub numbers among some leading managers who figured in some top level league changes during 2010 with the switch at California/Nevada and the promotion of CEO William Cheney to the CUNA helm.

Outside of Missouri, another vacant spot is Colorado where the association there is seeking a replacement for John Dill, who departed abruptly in May. Also in May the Mid-America Credit Union Association in Bismarck, N.D. ended a 10-month vacancy by naming former New Jersey league attorney Robbie Thompson, as its new president/CEO.
Moeckli, president/CEO of Electro Savings CU of St. Louis, said MCUA would be conducting candidate interviews over the next 30 to 45 days "and our plan is to have someone in place between July and September before Rosie leaves in December."
Moeckli praised Holub's 11-year tenure at MCUA as one "that has been very strong in building up our organization."
