The Allpoint Network has announced a deal with the $128 million Actors Federal Credit Union that will move the ATM network onto an additional 215 ATMs in New York City.

Actors Federal has long built an ATM niche in the New York City Metropolitan Area by putting cash dispensing ATMs in McDonald's restaurants in the area and has more than 200 machines in the fast food outlets. Allpoint has built an ATM niche by offering credit unions and other financial institutions fee free ATM access for their card holders in exchange for a monthly fee.

"New York City is an important market for Allpoint. Adding surcharge-free ATMs at high profile retail locations such as McDonalds drives value for our member institutions and the 25 million cardholders they serve," said Ben Psillas, president of Allpoint. "Allpoint has a proven track record of reliably driving their cardholders to surcharge-free ATMs that participate in their network. We look forward to seeing our locations featured across their technology offerings and the new transactions that it will bring," said Jeff Rodman, president of Actors Federal Credit Union.
