The votes are tallied and the results are in. The CUES Next TopCredit Union Executive six regional finalists have beenannounced.

The contestant with the highest number of votes in each regionwas selected as a finalist. All the finalists will contributeblog andvideo updates from now through November on their ideas orprojects to advance their credit unions or the industry as awhole.

The finalists are: Tina Hall from Verity Credit Union inSeattle, Wash., for the West region; Amy Grothaus fromCommunityAmerica Credit Union in Kansas City, Mo., for the Midwestregion; Amy Stanton from Connex Credit Union in North Haven, Conn.,for the Northeast region; James Roller from Tinker Federal CreditUnion in Oklahoma City, for the Southwest region; Ronaldo Hardyfrom La Capitol Federal Credit Union in Baton Rouge, La., for theSoutheast region; and Jodi Chambers from Assinibione Credit Unionin Winnipeg, Manitoba, for Canada.

"The final six are from a broad range of credit union sizes andsome very good ideas have risen to the top," said Tim McAlpine,president and creative director at Currency Marketing, a marketingfirm that helped CUES develop the contest.

Each finalist will receive registration, accommodation andairfare to CUES' CEO/Executive Team Network in Dallas from Nov.7-10. At the conference, each finalist will present their projectand compete for the grand prize, a CUES educational package and thetitle of the Next Top Credit Union Exec.

The winner will be chosen by a judging panel, who, like areality television voting panel, will offer the contestantsimmediate feedback after they present, and voting from online sitevisitors and conference attendees.
