Enlisting the help of credit unions, the Co-Op Miracle Match program has again offered $1 million for Children's Miracle Network support.

Currently, Generations FCU leads the way with a $30,000 contribution while Greater Texas FCU has also donated a $20,000 sum. Each contribution was met with an additional $10,000 donation from the program itself and will benefit CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children's Hospital in San Antonio.

The two local fundraising events-an annual Kids Bowl-a-Thon and Candy Sale-accumulated comparable funding to the top grossing fundraiser of 2009-a $45,000 turnout. President/CEO of Co-Op Financial Services Stan Hollen said that the program plans to seek further contributions toward the Children's Miracle Network in 2010.
