Since its mid-March launch, 78 credit unions have adopted CU*Answers new mobile banking service, the core processing CUSO said.

The It's Me 24/7 Mobile Web Banking product uses an automatic redirect from the CUSO's standard It's Me 24/7 online banking website, serving up a bandwidth-conscious subset of information most likely to be important to mobile users.

The service is free to existing credit union customers and also includes marketing materials. Application-based mobile banking and texting capabilities are expected to be offered later this year according to the Michigan-based provider of core processing and other solutions to more than 165 credit unions.
