The Biz Kid$ have made it to Wall Street, taking part in that classic ceremony-ringing the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
In an event promoted last week by the Washington Credit Union League complete with picture-taking and hoopla, a credit union group stood up on the NYSE platform to herald "bringing financial literacy to the home of modern finance" in the words of John Annaloro, president/CEO of the league.
The NYSE event was aimed at supporting financial education and also designed to showcase credit union awareness as it marks the fourth season of the youth literacy show on public television.

Joining Annaloro on the NYSE balcony were a contingent of Seattle youngsters, production executives and CU dignitaries involved y in plugging the TV series.
They included Mark S. Brantley, chairman of Municipal CU of New York, representing the African American CU Coalition; Clifford Rosenthal, president/CEO of the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions, and Kent Buckham, director of the NCUA's Office of Consumer Protection.
"Ringing the closing bell is just the latest recognition of Biz Kid$'s importance and scope as well as all the work and dedication that the credit union community has undertaken," said Annaloro in describing "the success of this hit series."
