Board Member Lumpkin Passes

Community First Credit Union of Florida is mourning board member John Lumpkin, who died at the age of 58 from complications of pneumonia.

Community First Credit Union of Florida is mourning board member John Lumpkin, who died at the age of 58 from complications of pneumonia.

Lumpkin had served as a member of the board of directors at the Jacksonville, Fla.-based credit union since 2001.

"John was a gracious and wonderful gentleman who will be missed by all of us at Community First," said CEO John Hirabayashi.

Lumpkin is survived by his wife, Irene, son, John Jr., and daughter, Vonda.
