Credit Card Connection, an online credit card referral service launched by Card Analysis Solutions and referenced on national consumer friendly media is helping at least one credit union draw more card attention.
The $75 million Statewide Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Flowood, Miss. signed on with Credit Card Connection in January of this year, according to CEO, Paul Armstrong.
"I can't recall where I heard about it, but I remember I went to the list of credit unions and saw there weren't any from Mississippi on the list and I thought there ought to be one and it ought to be us," Armstrong recalled.

Armstrong said the credit union had been very pleased, so far, with the results from the site, particularly since the credit union does not have a community charter.
Armstrong reported that since the first of the year the credit union had 375 visitors click through from the Credit Card Connection site and that 200 of those click through had made applications for a credit card. Of those, Armstrong said, 50 of them had resulted in cards being issued.
