The $270 million Vermont Federal Credit Union is now offering its members business services and has hired a former banker to oversee the new division.

The Burlington, Vt.-based CU has business checking, savings and money market accounts as well as lines of credit, commercial real estate, SBA and term loans. Online banking is also available to its business members.

Trish Porter has been hired as the director of business services at Vermont FCU. With more than 20 years of business lending experience, Porter most recently worked at Chittenden Bank as a vice president business banker.
