Minnesota Credit Union Network, Washington, announced that Mark D. Cummins, president/CEO . was elected to serve on the national CUNA Strategic Services Board. Cummins will serve a two-year term on the board. Having served in the credit union movement for 20 years, Cummins brings with him a wealth of experience. For the past three years, he has served as the credit unions' president/CEO. In addition, Cummins' previous experience includes working for 12 years as the president /CEO of White Crown Federal Credit Union in Denver, Colo. He also has significant experience on a variety of boards.

Insight Financial Credit Union, Orlando, Fla., recognized a significant milestone in the lives of two employees. Gara Hudson, branch manager at the credit union's Orlando-South location celebrated 35 years of service to the credit union. She has served as branch manager for over 15 years. Barbara Larson celebrated her 25th anniversary at the credit union. She has served in various positions, including senior teller, loan officer and her current role as assistant branch manager at the Orlando-South location.

JetStream Federal Credit Union Miami Lakes, Fla., announced their new Puerto Rico branch management team. Maria Rivera was promoted from assistant branch manager to branch manager, and Luis Otero has been promoted to assistant branch manager. This management team has over 26 years of combined experience with the credit union.

Redstone Federal Credit Union, Huntsville Ala., announced the naming of Harry Gunsallus as vice president technology. Gunsallus' primary focus of responsibility is technology planning, operations and strategy. The credit union also announced the promotion of Wayne Sisco to the position of vice president/controller. Sisco's primary focus of responsibility is accounting and financial reporting.

Missouri Credit Union Association, St. Louis, announced that President/CEO Rosie Holub will be retiring the end of December. Holub began her tenure with MCUA in December 1999 and brought to the position CEO management experience from both the New Mexico and Wyoming leagues. During her tenure, the credit union assets grew 57% to more than $10 billion as of June 2009. Holub authored CUNA's Credit Union Call Center Handbook in 1999 and was named as one of the "Most Influential Business Women in St Louis" in 2002.

Heritage Federal Credit Union, Newburgh, Ind., announced two additions. Teresa Farnsworth joined the credit union as the vice president of electronic services and support operations. She joins the credit union from Space Coast Credit Union in Melbourne, Florida where she held the position of vice president of operations. Timothy Coudret joined the credit union as the information center supervisor. He most recently held the position of customer service and sales supervisor at Insight Communications in Evansville.

Educational Community Credit Union, Kalamazoo, Mich., announced the promotion of Jennifer Jager to branch manager of the credit union's Three Rivers Office. Jager has been with the credit since 2003 and most recently served as financial service representative.

MichiganSchools and Government Credit Union, Clinton Township, Mich., announced the hiring of Bill Walton as facilities manager, a newly created position. Walton previously worked for Interior Partnership Group, Inc. as a senior project manager and was responsible for a wide range of projects. His qualifications include 16 years of facilities related management experience. Walton has an associate's degree from Oakland University, and a Michigan residential builders license. He recently received his LEED accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Numerica Credit Union, Spokane, Wash., announced the promotion of Deanna Ervin to the branch manager for its Spokane's South Hill branch. Ervin has 11 years of experience with the credit union as a teller, member service representative, supervisor and most recently as the member service center manager.
