EAST

First Capital Federal Credit Union, York, Pa., announced the hiring of Stanley Moore as the vice president of information technology. Moore brings nearly 30 years of technology and management experience to the credit union. Most recently he was the interim director of technology for the Susquehanna Township School District.

First Citizens' Federal Credit Union Fairhaven, Mass., announced the promotions of Maureen Sylvia to assistant vice president, loan operations and Evelyn Vieira to assistant treasurer, consumer lending administrator. The credit union also announced that Eleanor Weller, Cape Area mortgage originator received the ambassador of the year award by the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce in appreciation for her significant contributions and dedication as an ambassador.

SOUTH

Redstone Federal Credit Union, Huntsville, Ala., announced the election of board members. Charles L. Ray Jr., Dorothy Huston and Steve Fisher were elected to three-year terms on the board of directors.

BayPort Credit Union, Newport News, Va., announced the election of Suzanne M. Beckstoffer as chairman of the board at its reorganization meeting. She replaces Pamela J. Rowe, who stepped down from the chairmanship after 13 years of service. Rowe remains on the board serving as first vice chairman. Beckstoffer was elected to the credit union's board of directors in 1992 and previously served as first vice chairman. Additionally, Donald E. King was elected second vice chairman, Mary A. Campbell was elected secretary/treasurer and Theodore L. Stewart Sr., was elected assistant secretary, at the meeting.

MIDWEST

Marine Credit Union, La Crosse, Wis., announced that Peg Lamb has joined its executive management team as chief financial officer. Lamb has over 30 years of experience working for financial institutions. She most recently held the same position at CapCom Credit Union in Lansing, Mich., where she worked for 10 years.

WEST

Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, Phoenix, announced the promotions of six employees. Lee Brice was promoted to senior vice president, strategic direction and operations. Jim Lavery was promoted to vice president contact center operations. Jennifer Godel was promoted to vice president, human resources, training and development and quality. Gary Laieski was promoted to vice president/chief information officer. Ann Prettyman was promoted to assistant vice president, accounting/payroll. Stephen Jordan was promoted to assistant vice president, finance/secondary marketing.

Elevations Credit Union, Boulder, Colo., announced that Gerry Agnes, president/CEO, was appointed to the board of managers with the Credit Union Service Network Corp.

VENDOR

Avista Solutions, Columbia, S.C., announced the hiring of Jerry White to the dual positions of chief operating officer and chief financial officer. White brings over 25 years of financial experience to Avista, most of which have been spent with technology-focused firms. He joins Avista after five years with Metavante Banking Solutions, Orlando, Fla., where he was chief financial officer for Bankway, one of the company's core products. White holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida. He received his MBA from Webster University.

DCU Realty, LLC, Marlborough, Mass., announced the appointment of Kim Chagnon to the position of manager-broker. Chagnon has an extensive background in real estate expertise, sales, and management experience. Prior to joining DCU as sales and business development team leader in 2007, she was a Realtor for the MapleCliff Real Estate in Northbridge, Mass., and was named agent of the year in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

CO-OP Financial Services, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. announced the naming of Jim Blouin as regional sales manager-northeast. Blouin has more than 20 years of credit, debit and ATM processing sales and relationship management experience. He joins CO-OP from Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (formerly Certegy Card Services), where he spent more than 12 years.
