Redwood Credit Union has once again partnered with the Santa Rosa, Calif., School District to offer a free 16-hour financial academy for local high school students.

Using the High School Financial Planning Program created by the National Endowment for Financial Education, the program covers topics such as budgeting, financial planning, saving and investing, credit and debt management and other life skills related to managing money.

The Spring Financial Literacy Academy will be held at Redwood CU's headquarters from March 30 through April 1 and is open to students currently in 11th or 12th grade at any Sonoma County high school.
