The Disclosures' 'Movin' On with My Money' music video has got people moving to the credit union beat.
Made up of Wisconsin Credit Union League Media Relations Manager/Web Producer Chad Helminak and CUNA Councils Web Manager Christopher Morris, the popular thrift rock band's recent submission to Young & Free's Why Gen Y Live 'Lookin' Like a Fool with Your Money in a Bank' music video contest (www.youngfreehq.com/contest) went viral after being featured on the Huffington Post's 'Move Your Money' campaign homepage (moveyourmoney.info/) and Facebook page (facebook.com/MoveYourMoney). Could the duo have recorded a potential Move Your Money theme song?
The Young & Free contest challenged participants to create a credit union music video take-off of General Larry Platt's now famous 'Pants on the Ground' song that was featured on American Idol's 2010 Atlanta auditions. Any musical genre was accepted but the entry song had to with "Money in a bank. Money in a bank. Looking like a fool with your money in a bank."
