Hall of Fame football player and coach Mike Ditka and award-winning journalist Bill Kurtis are among the speakers at NAFCU's 43rd Annual Conference & Exhibition this July in Chicago.

Ditka, the first tight end ever inducted into the Hall of Fame and who coached the Chicago Bears to a Super Bowl victory in 1985, will share his insights into winning and effective leadership. He is now a football commentator on television and radio.

Kurtis has had a long career as a network and local television news reporter and producer and host of numerous documentaries. He currently hosts the Emmy-nominated Cold Case Files and Investigating History. During his talk, he will discuss how credit unions can give back to their communities and impact lives through their work.

In addition to hearing Ditka, conference attendees will have another sports-related experience when they attend a Chicago Cubs-St. Louis Cardinals game at Wrigley Field. The Cubs-Cardinals rivalry is one of the most storied in baseball. The Cubs are a sentimental favorite of many fans and haven't won a world championship in 102 years and the Cardinals have won the second most World Series titles in baseball history.

Other speakers include NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz, NCUA Board Members Michael Fryzel and Gigi Hyland.

The conference is scheduled to take place from July 20-24 at the Navy Pier in Chicago.
