Ever so slowly, Mid-Atlantic credit unions were digging out today and opening their doors after the epic winter storms.

“We made it to work today and so did all of my employees and let me say you will never hear any complaints how hot it might get this summer,” said a snow-weary Kimberly K. Darr, president/CEO of the $45 million Front Royal FCU in Virginia who noted snow totals so far this winter have topped 70 inches. “We were closed yesterday but never lost power but many employees lost power over the weekend.”
