Oakland said among the key requirements for the foundation leader is that he or she enjoys a deep background in credit unions and is recognized as a leader in the movement.
"Since this individual will be working with credit unions to solicit and maintain their support for the foundation, we hope that included in his or her career profile will be a deep understanding of credit unions, as well as a strong network of contacts among them," Oakland said.
