A couple in Pennsylvania has been charged with stealing and using a credit card from a woman who died on their couch, according to a report in The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The paper reported Jan. 22 that Michael Wheaton, 25, and Sabrina Tomcho, 20, have been charged with stealing the credit card of 40-year-old Kimberly Lacey after Lacey died on their couch on Dec. 4. Wheaton and Tomcho allegedly rifled through Lacey's purse and found the card while emergency personnel were trying to revive her and transport her to the hospital.

Police said the couple confessed to using the card beginning on Dec. 5. The two allegedly charged $1,000 in different stores to the card. The paper did not report which financial institution issued the card.
