uMonitor said about half its client base attended its recent two-day users conference, presented virtually.

The Memphis-based provider of account opening and funding solutions said the uShare conference featured 11 interactive presentations by eight client credit unions and banks.
Topics included efficiency and productivity improvements to lower costs and increase profitability, the company said.

"uShare was the perfect way to learn about how other financial institutions are using uMonitor solutions, as well as the challenges they face and the best practices they have developed," said Margarete Mucker, vice president of remote services at $4.8 billion Star One Credit Union in Sunnyvale, Calif.

Dinesh Sheth, CEO at uMonitor, said, "Since so much business is now conducted via the Web, we decided that a virtual conference would enable more customers to attend and freely share their insights. Participation was high, and we received great feedback from the presenters and attendees to improve uMonitor services.

uMonitor provides account opening, funding and other solutions to about 125 clients, about half of them credit unions. A similar virtual users conference is being planned for next October, the company said.
