CO-OP Financial Services has partnered with NCR Corp. to offer outsourced ATM services to credit unions.
The service will launch in early 2010 and offer hardware purchase and leasing options, software, service upgrades and ATM processing options. It also will serve as a single contact point for managing an ATM fleet, instead of forcing credit unions to manage multiple vendors, the big CUSO said.
CO-OP will provide clients the terminal driving, data communication and cash management functions, as well as features such as check imaging, while NCR will handle ATM sales, deployment and servicing. Users will receive one consolidated bill, from CO-OP.
"CO-OP ATM Managed Services is a perfect fit for our credit union members who are looking for cost-effective ways to manage or grow their ATM fleets," said Stan Hollen, president/CEO of CO-OP Financial Services in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., a provider of payment and processing services to about 3,000 credit unions, 26 million cardholders, 3,700 shared branches and 28,000 surcharge-free ATMs.
