Alberto Gonzalez, the leader of the hackers responsible for many of the most notable credit and debit card security breaches and frauds of the previous decade, will learn how much prison time he faces at a hearing in March.
According to court documents, Gonzalez pleaded guilty to two conspiracy counts in the Heartland breach case on top of previous admissions of guilt in the hacking incidents at TJX, BJ's Wholesale Club, Office Max, Barnes and Noble, Boston Market, Sports Authority and Dave & Busters.
Gonzalez faces up to 25 years in prison for the Heartland breach alone.
