Mark Hoaglin was recently hired as vice president of investments and insurance at the $3.7 billion Patelco Credit Union.
Hoaglin is widely known in the credit union industry as the former president/CEO of XCU Capital Corp., the CU-owned broker-dealer and investment advisory firm that was bought by LPL Financial Services in August 2007. Hoaglin served as senior vice president of credit unions at LPL Financial Institution Services. In early 2009, he formed his own CU consultation firm, Above the Crowd Business Development Group.
With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Hoaglin's career experience also includes managing and developing investment and insurance programs at Citibank and Cal Fed Bank.
