Tinker Federal Credit Union President/CEO Michael Kloiber was one of five people named today to join the Federal Reserve Board's Thrift Institutions Advisory Council.

Kloiber, whose credit union is based at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, joins Randolph-Brooks FCU CEO Randy Smith as the only credit union representatives on the 12-member panel.

The council meets with the Fed's Board of Governors three times a year to discuss developments relating to thrift institutions, the housing industry, mortgage finance, and regulatory issues.
