There's a new blog designed to help credit unions stay in the know about the latest in online conversations. Developed by Filene consultant and popular blogger, known as CU Warrior, Matt Davis and supported by Filene Research Institute and Currency Marketing, CUWaterCooler.com draws on some 12 credit union online conversation leaders to serve as "editors" who tag what they feel are some of the most relevant social media stories. Davis says he expects the site and list of editors to change as the conversations change. There is also a CU Water Cooler Liquid Lunch weekly radio/podcast series aimed at deepening the conversation and getting more people involved while introducing followers to voices outside of "the credit union social media echo chamber." According to Currency Marketing Creative Director Tim McAlpine, a revolving cast of up to five CU Water Cooler editors will discuss and debate the most popular stories of the week. The Liquid Lunch airs live on Mondays at 1 p.m. EST.
