Credit union executives and their advocates interested in commenting on the proposed rules on corporate credit unions can attend the NCUA's Town Hall meetings on the subject that will take place next year, the agency announced today.

The agency will hold a session on Jan. 22 in Dallas and on Feb. 4 in Orlando, Fla. Both will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will also be a web meeting on a date to be announced later in February.

On Nov. 19, the NCUA Board sent out for public comment a series of proposed regulations revamping the rules on corporate credit unions. They deal with everything from risk concentration to changes in the rules regarding the composition of and qualifications of board members.
