Credit union employees who want to learn how to comply with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Activity reporting requirements that recently went into effect can participate in NAFCU's Dec. 2 Webcast on the subject.
The Webcast will deal with topics such as new HMDA rules for reporting price information on higher-priced loans, prevalent problems in HMDA reporting and offer guidance on how to handle reporting errors and potential liability. Additionally, the Webcast will explore the 2008 HMDA data, including the lending trends it illustrates and how regulators are interpreting the data.
Arthur B. Axelson, a partner at Reed Smith LLP, will be the Webcast's speaker. He specializes in compliance issues and works extensively with clients in the financial services industry.
