Tha Palo Alto, California-based credit union recently hosted aTweetUp at a local Phiz Coffee to discuss topics ranging from theeconomy to the credit union's bank intervention campaign.

According to AAFCU eCommerce Senior Vice President Stu Fisher,the event attracted members who follow the credit union on Twitterfor news and updates as well as locals passing by.

A believer in the value of participating in the community, the$2.2 billion credit union tweets, blogs and reaches out through itsonline community groups while still building a physical presence inthe local areas it serves. Fisher says the TweetUp is just anotherexample of how Addison Avenue is willing to do whatever it takes tokeep in touch with members.
