To mark International Credit Union Day the U.S. Credit Union Development Educators and World Council of Credit Unions will launch a special Webcast entitled Celebrating Our Heritage with WOCCU President/CEO Pete Crear.
Paul Berry, host of CUNA's Home & Family Finance Radio, will serve as moderator for the one-hour online program that will also feature Tom Decker, national program director for the National Credit Union Foundation. Crear will discuss credit unions' global impact given the ongoing economic crisis.
Rather than contribute to ongoing economic problems, Crear says credit unions have diversified risk and provided consumers with safe alternatives when facing their own financial issues.
