Keesler Federal Credit Union, Biloxi, Miss., announced that Devon Ballard, internal auditor, has achieved a certified internal auditor's certification. The certification is administered by the Institute of Internal Auditors. Ballard has worked in the audit department since 2004 and has also been certified as a credit union compliance expert. She is a member of the Gulf Coast chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Mississippi Coast Chamber's Coast Young Professionals.

FAA Credit Union, Oklahoma City, announced that Will Looney is the credit union's new representative for investment services provided through Investment Professionals Inc. Looney specializes in retirement planning, strategic asset allocation and portfolio management. He joins the credit union after a career as a financial adviser at a global financial services firm.
Veridian Credit Union, Waterloo, Iowa, announced the hiring of Lucas Johnson as core systems programmer. Previously, Johnson was lead applications developer at Stamats Communications.

Credit Union Association of Oklahoma, Tulsa, Okla., announced that Carol Rolke has been appointed CUAOk vice president of political and regulatory affairs. Rolke comes to CUAOk with a law degree and six years of experience in law and the banking industry. Most recently, she served as a general practice private practitioner.

WEST

Kitsap Credit Union, Bremerton, Wash., announced the hiring of Randy Guidinger as the branch manager of its Silverdale Highlands branch. Guidinger has 19 years of experience in the credit union industry and most recently was the assistant vice president of credit union services at Washington State Employees Credit Union Service Co.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Manhattan Beach, Calif., announced that Kenneth Stauffer was hired as vice president, enterprise project and process office. Stauffer will oversee the enterprise project management function as well as business process analysis and design. Stauffer has 17 years of experience and has been a consultant Kinecta since March 2009. Previously, Stauffer was vice president of corporate projects at Downey Savings. Prior to that he was chief technology officer at Metrocites Mortgage.

First Credit Union, Chandler, Ariz., announced that President/CEO Fred Kent has retired after serving the credit union for 26 years. The First Credit Union board of directors appointed Jay Curtis to replace Kent. Curtis has served has executive vice president and chief financial officer at the credit union for the past six years.

DeLeon & Strang CPA and Advisors, Gaithersburg, Md., announced that Jeanie Price was recently named to the board of directors of the association of accounting administration. Price joined DeLeon & Strang in 1991 as a secretary and progressed to become the director of administration.
