The capital of country music provided the stage for the first users conference of Fiserv Inc's newly integrated credit union core processing operation.

Nearly 1,500 participants gathered Aug. 24-27 at the Gaylord Opryland resort in Nashville, Tenn., for Innovate 2009, the company said. Earlier this year, Fiserv said it had completed the integration of its seven individual credit union core processing units.

"Bringing together all of our credit union clients face-to-face for the first time was significant for our organization and for the clients we serve," said Sara L. Brooks, senior vice president of strategy, marketing and offerings development.
