People's Credit Union, Middletown, R.I., announced the addition of three new mortgage originators to its staff. John F. Ferrara is a graduate of Northeastern University and has marketed loans to Rhode Island and Massachusetts residents. Michael Martin has more than 12 years' experience in writing Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and nonconforming mortgages. David Young has been in the mortgage industry for 10 years and has experience financing single- and multi-family homes, investment property, second homes, and small commercial and mixed use properties.

Georgetown Kraft Credit Union, Georgetown, S.C., announced the following new employees and promotions. Alexa Jenkins has been promoted to manager of the operations department. She oversees member services such as automated clearing house debit functions, credit and debit card requests, checking requests, courtesy pay, wire transfers and accounts payable. Jenkins has been employed by the credit union for 12 years and has held head teller and Visa coordinator positions. Tiffany Cameron has been promoted to loan officer in the Georgetown branch, where she will be opening new accounts and assisting members with their loan needs, including auto, home and personal. Cameron has been employed with the credit union for almost three years and has held the positions of teller and loan clerk. Emily Lambert has been promoted to loan clerk. She will assist with loan processing, filing, title work and opening new member accounts. She has been employed for two years as teller in the Andrews branch. Tara Glass has been promoted to assistant head teller in the Georgetown office, where she will assist the head teller with daily frontline duties. Two new tellers have joined the GKCU staff to assist members with transactions including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments. Kelly Duvall has joined the Georgetown branch, and Rebecca Rogers has joined the credit union as a floater teller among all the branches.

OMNI Community Credit Union, Battle Creek, Mich., has hired Ed Mounce as its commercial services manager. Mounce is a Western Michigan University graduate and has more than seven years of experience. In his position, Mounce is responsible for commercial products such as real estate mortgages, equipment and term notes, business lines of credit and business depository products.
Connexus Credit Union, Wausau, Wis., announced that Sandy Warner has joined its team as vice president-financial services. Warner will oversee the credit union's member service, member center and training areas and will be responsible for the defined business goals of each area. She will also develop and foster a sales culture to ensure that the credit union's brand is strongly executed through each interaction her teams have with members. Warner comes to Connexus from TD Bank in Franklin, N.J.
Advance Financial Federal Credit Union, Schererville, Ind., announced the hiring of Susan Burgett as indirect loan collector and recovery coordinator. Burgett has been active in the credit union movement for more than 15 years.
Members Cooperative Credit Union, Duluth, Minn., announced that Steven Raj is its new mortgage manager. Raj graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and has more than 14 years of lending experience. He has previously been vice president for the area's first independent mortgage company and president of northern operations for Apollo Home Mortgage Corp. He is educated in FHA, VA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Mountain America Credit Union, Salt Lake City, named Gayla Bell as manager of its Sunset Boulevard branch. She replaces Tim Toy, who has transferred to the River Road branch. Bell has been with the credit union for more than 13 years. Most recently, she worked as a small business lending officer in the Utah county area. Toy has been in the industry for more than six years.
Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, Phoenix, announced that Dennis J. Osuch has joined the volunteer board of directors. Osuch brings more than a decade of consulting and audit services to more than 100 cities, towns, school districts and not-for-profit organizations in Arizona. He is currently managing partner of Cronstrom, Osuch & Co. and has served on the credit union's supervisory committee for the past year. The credit union also announced that Desert Schools Financial Services, its wholly owned subsidiary, has hired David Hinojos as a member asset preservation services representative. Hinojos is a graduate of Everest College with a degree in criminal justice administration. He served as a law enforcement professional before beginning a new career with Desert Schools.
