NAFCU has nominated senior credit union executives Daniel P. Berry and Peter C. Spratt to the Federal Reserve Board's Consumer Advisory Council.

Berry is the chief operating officer of Duke University Federal Credit Union in Durham, N.C. and Spratt is the executive vice president, chief operating officer and general counsel of Chetco Federal Credit Union in Harbor, Ore.

The 30-member council was established in 1976 to advise the Federal Reserve Board on the exercise of its duties under the Consumer Credit Protection Act and on other matters in the area of consumer financial services. Ten new members will be appointed to serve three-year terms beginning in January 2010.
