The Golden 1 Credit Union is the first credit union user of a new ASP version of a remote deposit capture solution from Fiserv Inc.
The $7.5 billion institution also is one of the first customers overall to use the hosted version of Fiserv's Consumer Source Capture solution, the company said.
Consumer Source Capture allows individual or small business users to scan and deposit checks from anywhere with a PC, scanner and Internet connection, the company said.

The 700,000-member credit union already uses Fiserv solution for core processing, online banking and bill pay.
