Jack Henry & Associates Inc. said its Symitar division has added 33 new credit union users of its core processing platform during the past 12 months.

The three credit unions cited in the Symitar announcement, and their previous core processor according to their 5300 Call Reports at the NCUA, were $201 million Meridian Trust FCU of Cheyenne, Wyo. (Open Solutions Inc.), $165 million Olean Area FCU of Olean, N.Y. (Fiserv AFTECH), and $3.6 million Brookland FCU of West Columbia, S.C. (EPL Inc.)

More than 700 credit unions now use Symitar's Episys or Cruise systems. Fifteen of the new users will run their systems in-house while the rest will be service bureau users, according to Missouri-based Jack Henry & Associates.
