Longtime credit union supporter Vicente Fox, former president of Mexico, will keynote World Council of Credit Unions' World Credit Union Conference, scheduled to run this coming Sunday through Wednesday in Barcelona, Spain.
More than 1,100 credit union executives, officials and supporters from 62 countries are expected to attend. Learning tracks for this year's breakout sessions include leadership and strategy, sustainability, finance and operations and relevant topics for developing credit union movements.
Special events include the international Regulators' Roundtable, a one-of-a-kind event drawing 28 participants from 13 countries this year, and the first-ever Global Women's Leadership Forum.

WOCCU will also present its Distinguished Service Awards, WOCCU's highest level of recognition given for lifetime contributions to the global cooperative movement, and the WOCCU Young Credit Union People scholarship, an all-expense-paid trip to next year's WOCCU conference.
