This year's Health Care Credit Unions International's annual conference will focus on helping members survive in today's economy.

The conference is slated to run from Oct. 7-9 at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco on Union Square. According to HCUI President Maury Pilver, the conference will cover topics ranging from the critical financial market to its impact on health care credit unions and their members.

HCUI was founded in 2006 as a resource for the several hundred health care credit unions across the U.S. and Canada. Through the association, the CUs exchange information and ideas, share concerns and their solutions, and together find the answers to better serve their very specialized members-health care and hospital professionals.
