Connex Credit Union is turning to the local community for help in naming its new checking account.
The 'Unbank-Unnamed Checking' Naming Contest is designed to help personalize the credit union's new high-interest checking product.
Contestants are asked to submit their ideas through July 30 online at www.wplr.com, www.wezn943.com or www.star999.com. One winner will be chosen and in addition to bragging rights, $1,000 will be deposited into a Connex CU checking account.
