So far, the national recession has failed to put a damper on credit union enthusiasm for young adult innovations based on educator presentations at this year's National Youth Involvement Board conference meeting next month, the NYIB said Thursday.
Based on data, 300,000 students will be reached this year, marking the second consecutive year for that achievement, said the NYIB.
"We do want to remind credit union financial educators and marketers that the annual deadline for reporting presentation data is tomorrow, Friday, July 10 at 5:00 p.m. EDT," said Brandon Pugh, chairman of NYIB. "While the NYIB Web site (www.nyib.org) accepts continual data entry, the network's official reporting year is July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009."
