There has been a changing of the guard at the NationalFederation of Community Development Credit Unions.

Because of established term limits, Eunice J. Rogers has retiredas board chairman. Self Help Credit Union Chief Financial OfficerRandy Chambers, who has been serving as board vice chairman, hasbeen elected the new board chairman.

In thesetroubled times, the federation is as committed as ever to helpingour credit unions and the communities and people we serve toweather this economic storm.”

Rounding out the board officers are Team Financial FCU CEO LyndaMilton, vice chairman; Northeast Community FCU Board PresidentMichael Chan, treasurer; Lower East Side People's FCU ChairmanDeyanira Del Rio, recording secretary on the executive committee;and South Side Community FCU CEO Gregg Brown, correspondingsecretary.

In Region 1, Sharon Saulters, president/CEO of Triumph BaptistFCU, was elected director. A former National Federation boardmember, Saulters has continued to be active in the federation'sfaith-based credit union task force.

In Region 2, Mississippi State Sen. Robert L. Jackson,treasurer/CEO of First Delta FCU, was re-elected to the NationalFederation's board of directors. Jackson has been a longtimedirector with the federation, serving various nonconsecutiveterms.

Daniel Scott, president/CEO of Faith Based FCU, was newlyelected to director for Region 4. Scott operates a smallfaith-based CDCU chartered in 2003.

National Federation directors may serve up to three three-yearterms. Board officers serve one-year terms and are elected by theirpeers.
