Zigmund Kryszak, senior vice president of organizational development at GTE Federal Credit Union, has been elected to the board of directors of Prime Alliance for a two-year term.
Based in Seattle, Prime Alliance is a CUSO that provides mortgage lending technology and services to 1,600 credit unions.
Kryszak joined GTE FCU in 2005. He has more than 30 years of corporate, college faculty and consulting experience in organizational development.

In addition, Kryszak holds a bachelor's degree in clinical and applied psychology from Olivet College, a master's degree in criminal justice management from Michigan State University, and a doctorate in education from Western Michigan University.
Leominster CU Elects New Board
Leominster Credit Union has elected its 2009-2010 board of directors.
Giulio G. Greco was re-elected chairman of the board. He is a retired Leominster businessman and has been a member of LCU's board for more than three decades.
Serving as vice chairman is Amedeo E. Bilotta, who is a former LCU board chairman and has been a board member since 1995.
Richard A. Sheppard was re-elected treasurer. He taught for many years in the Wachusett Regional School System and currently serves as a selectman in Sterling.
Rosemary Bracani was re-elected assistant treasurer and has served on the board since 1999.
Anthony A. Gasbarro was re-elected to the office of clerk. He is principal of Glenwood Elementary School in Rutland and has been on the board since 2003.
Hiway Picks Volunteer
Longtime member and retired Minnesota Department of Transportation Business Manager Jerry Holland is Hiway Federal Credit Union's latest board member.
Holland, who joined the credit union in 1977, was appointed to the board earlier this year to succeed Stephan Bucko, who was a director for 34 years. Holland had previously served on the credit union's supervisory committee.
Pa. League Names Board
The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association Board has elected Ray Brunner, WEST-AIRCOMM Federal Credit Union president/CEO, its chairman and Michael Kaczenski, Sun East FCU president/CEO, its vice chairman.
Brunner represents District 2 and has been a PCUA Board member since 1999. He will serve as chairman of the PCUA's nine-member board of directors.
Kaczenski represents District 6 and has been a PCUA Board member since 2004.
In addition, Westmoreland Community Federal Credit Union CEO Maria LaVelle has been elected to serve a three-year term and will represent credit unions in the Armstrong, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Somerset, Washington and Westmoreland counties. LaVelle also serves on the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation and is active in the Greensburg Chapter of Credit Unions, holding the position of vice president.
CUNA Mutual Re-Elects Four
Four directors were re-elected to positions on the CUNA Mutual Insurance Society board of directors.
CUMIS directors re-elected to three-year terms included Joseph J. Gasper, retired president/chief operating officer at Nationwide Insurance; Robert J. Marzec, retired audit partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers; M. Victoria Wood Miller, retired executive vice president/chief financial officer at Turner Broadcasting System Inc.; and Randy M. Smith, president/CEO at Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union.
Westerra Credit Union President/CEO Alan Peppers was elected board chairman, replacing Loretta Burd, and Gasper was elected vice chairman.
Remaining CUNA Mutual Board members include Burd, president/CEO at Centra Credit Union; Eldon Arnold, retired president/CEO at CEFCU; William B. Eckhardt, president/CEO at Alaska USA Federal Credit Union; Bert J. Hash Jr., president/CEO at Municipal Employees Credit Union of Baltimore Inc.; Farouk D.G. Wang, director of buildings and grounds management at the University of Hawaii; Larry T. Wilson, president/CEO at Coastal Federal Credit Union; James W. Zilinski, retired chairman/president/CEO at Berkshire Life Insurance Co.; and Jeff Post, president/CEO, CUNA Mutual Group.
Chartway Selects Directors
Four Chartway Federal Credit Union volunteers have been re-elected to the 2009-2010 board.
Re-elected to a three-year term is Chairman E. L. Gull Jr. He has served as Chartway's chairman for the past four years and has served the credit union for over 28 years. Gull was named NAFCU's 2008 volunteer of the year.
A volunteer for 19 years, John L. McGrath will continue to serve as secretary. During his 15 years of board service, he has served and chaired a number of committees and was awarded the Roy F. Bergengren Award from the Virginia Credit Union League.
Also re-elected were directors Dallas L. England and Captain (Ret.) George Emery Sauer III. England joined Chartway as a supervisory committee member in 1994 and has participated in Chartway's volunteer advanced training program and various committees, chairing the directors' scholarship committee. Sauer joined Chartway in 1987 as the military liaison officer, then served on the supervisory committee. He now sits on the new-services committee and is vice chairman of the directors' memorial scholarship committee.
Rounding out the board are Judith P. Sparrow, first vice chairman; Wayne E. Foshay, second vice chairman; Melvin S. Mizelle, treasurer; Robert O. Holmes, director; and Albert C. Merritt, director.
