Holy Rosary Credit Union,
Rochester, N.H., announced the promotion of Megan Dean to senior teller of the Dover branch location. Dean started her career with HRCU in 2007 as a part-time teller. With her promotion to senior teller, Dean mentors and directs the teller line. In addition, she trains new and current tellers on new procedures and policies and provides assistance to the teller supervisor.

SEFCU,
Albany, N.Y., recently hired Gary Young as chief banking officer. In his new role, Young is responsible for leading the sales efforts of SEFCU's branch network. He is also charged with developing strategy for the retail investment team. Young brings more than 23 years of financial experience to his position at SEFCU, having most recently worked as vice president of national sales at CUNA Mutual Group. He also worked as a financial consultant for the Virginia Credit Union League.

Connex Credit Union,
North Haven, Conn., promoted Gezim Stroka to assistant branch manager at its North Haven location. Previously, Stroka worked as a new account representative at the Connex Guilford location since May 2006. He brings more than four years of experience in the financial services industry to his new position.

GFA Federal Credit Union, Gardner, Mass., announced that David C. Bojarczuk has been appointed vice president/finance and treasurer. He has been with GFA since 2007 and previously held the title of vice president/finance. Bojarczuk has more than 20 years of experience in finance, with a background in accountancy, asset-liability management and consulting. His experience includes financial institutions, publically held and private companies and public accounting.

NuUnion Credit Union,
Lansing, Mich., announced the promotion of Jennifer Kurzynowski to chief information officer. As CIO, she provides leadership to the areas of information technology including electronic banking systems, Web-based services as well as information, network and telecommunication systems. Formerly vice president of e-commerce, Kurzynowski has contributed 19 years of service to NuUnion. In addition to being CIO, Kurzynowski has a role on the team that partners with the CEO and executive management in strategic development and implementation.

Rihm has 12 years of experience in the financial services industry and holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of St. Thomas. In his new position, Rihm will coordinate branch operations and take an active role in the Eagan business community.

San Antonio Federal Credit Union,
San Antonio, announced that Wendi Lozada-Smith has joined its information technology team as the credit union's information security officer. Lozada-Smith brings more than a decade of experience in working with financial institutions and information security. She served as director/manager of information security at World Savings and subsequently served as regional manager and vice president for corporate information security at Wachovia. She previously held IT positions at National Bancshares, Cott Beverages and KPMG. SACU also announced that Paul R. Ellis has joined the collections team as vice president and collections manager. Ellis previously worked for the Texas Credit Union League in Dallas as vice president of Member Service Centers Inc. He also worked for SACU in Houston as an assistant vice president and loan officer and in banking for several institutions in Arizona. He brings 30 years' experience in the financial industry to SACU. The credit union also announced the appointment of Blaise C. Bender to serve as a member of the SACU supervisory committee. Bender is associate professor of accounting and law at Our Lady of the Lake University. He has experience in public accounting work for Arthur Andersen & Co., Deloitte Touche, and Ernst and Young. He also has worked as a controller and corporate financial officer in private industry and provides consultant services for clients, including Fortune 500 companies and national nonprofit organizations.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Manhattan Beach, Calif., announced that Perry Yick has joined the organization as vice president of risk analytics. Yick's responsibilities will include loan-loss reserves, pipeline and hedging analytics, and credit and portfolio analysis. Before joining Kinecta, Yick headed his own financial consulting firm, Yick Financial Corp. Prior to that, he was senior vice president in charge of pricing new and existing products at WMC Mortgage Corp. He had an extensive career at Countrywide Financial Corp., most recently as senior vice president, responsible for pricing and exit strategies for all prime products.

Safe 1 Credit Union, Bakersefield, Calif., announced that Robert Friesen has been elected chairman of the board of directors. Friesen has served as a volunteer with Safe 1 for 32 years. He is retired from the California Department of Water Resources after 33 years of service. Safe 1 serves all residents of Kern and Tulare Counties and currently has over 41,000 members.

Grebisz brings to Compli more than 15 years of executive experience in software development, professional services, global operations management, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and sales and marketing. Before joining Compli, Grebisz was the chief operating officer for Welocalize Inc. Prior to that, he was founder and CEO of Global Software Solutions Inc.
