As a state budget battle continues, Arizona State CU President/CEO David Doss said his credit union is prepared to provide emergency financial assistance.

"We will offer alternative products and services to help members who may not be compensated in the coming week," Doss stated.

Among those products will be an automatic, interest-free, fee-free $1,500 line of credit on checking accounts that normally receive payroll direct deposit from the state. Additionally, an emergency payroll loan will be available at a low interest rate, as well as skip-a-payment for state employees with a loan through the credit union.
