Garry Parks, the president/CEO of the South Carolina Credit Union League, the last five years, is retiring at year-end with a search committee being formed to recruit his replacement, it was disclosed this week.

Parks, a retired U.S. Marine Corp. deputy commandant, announced his retirement plans in a letter sent to his staff.
