FedChoice Federal Credit Union, Washington, announced that Gail Sanders, membership ambassador for FedChoice Federal Credit Union, was presented with the Pat Crump award at the installation of officers and awards ceremony luncheon for Federally Employed Women of the IRS. Sanders received the award in recognition of her dedication, courage and commitment to the Federally Employed Women of the IRS-New Carrollton Chapter.
Florida Commerce Credit Union, Tallahassee, Fla., named Samantha Strickland vice president of growth and brand management for the credit union. Strickland has been with the credit union since 1998 when she was hired as the communications coordinator. She was promoted a year later to director of marketing. Carla A. DeBaldo was named vice president of sales. DeBaldo joined the credit union in 2007 as director of branch operations. In her new position, DeBaldo will oversee the seven branches of the credit union as well as the call center.
First Financial Credit Union, Wall, N.J., announced that Jeanne Brunetti was appointed director emerita of the credit union's board of directors. Brunetti has served on the board of directors since 1989 and was formerly a second vice chairperson.

Community Alliance Credit Union, Dearborn, Mich., appointed Scott Williams to chief operations officer. Williams has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Alliance in 2007 to serve as executive director. In his new role, Williams will oversee the day-to-day management of branch operations.
Telhio Credit Union, Columbus, Ohio, announced three new additions to its management team. Todd Bullock was hired as vice president of residential real estate. Jerome Jones was hired as vice president of business services. Marc Stock was hired as business development representative. Bullock was previously a technology consultant at AmTrust Bank and a branch manager for Mortgage IT. Jones was previously a vice president of community development lending for Key Bank and senior loan officer for Community Capital Development Corp. Stock was previously a customer relations representative for BMW North America.

The Credit Union Association of New Mexico, Albuquerque, N.M., announced two new employees. Casey Shorty will serve as the new association services assistant. Her responsibilities will include providing clerical assistance and support to the association services staff. Shorty previously worked at Charter Bank and Merrill Lynch prior to joining the Credit Union Association of New Mexico. Devon Van Hecke joined the credit union's youth marketing team as an operations specialist and a staff writer. Van Hecke is a recent graduate from the University of New Mexico where she received a bachelor's degree in mass communication and journalism.
The Texas Credit Union League, Dallas, inducted John Tippets and Bob Rodgers into the Texas Credit Union Hall of Fame. Tippets, a retired CEO of American Airlines Federal Credit Union and Rodgers, a retired CEO of EECU, were honored due to their records of achievement within their respective credit unions as well as their contributions to the credit union movement as a whole.
PrimeWay Federal Credit Union, Houston, announced that Adrian Almaguer will serve as the office manager in their midtown Houston location. Almaguer has been in the financial industry since 2002 and then moved into a supervisory position in 2003. He quickly moved on to teller management and then branch management. The credit union also announced that Mohammed Mohiuddin will be the new office manager at the credit union's Methodist Hospital location. Mohiuddin began his career in the financial industry in 2002 and moved into the management in 2005.
