With the message of encouraging credit unions to seize market share, NCUA Vice Chairman Rodney Hood will be one of the keynote speakers at NACUSO’s annual conference in May.Hood will share his perspectives on the current economic environment and how it provides credit unions and CUSOs with the opportunities and timing to increase market share, NACUSO said. He will also provide an update on the latest regulations coming from NCUA.NCUA personnel will also participate in sessions to help answer questions related to the corporate stabilization effort, the role the regulator sees for CUSOs in shaping credit unions during the recovery and regulatory changes to help credit unions meet their members’ financial needs.NACUSO will also have five breakout session educational tracks: financial services, innovation and collaboration, business services, technology and regulator issues.NACUSO’s conference will take place May 3-6 at the Encore Las Vegas.
