A new web site will enable a child to shop online using their parent's credit or debit card -as long as the parent approved the transaction.

Bill My Parents (www.billmyparents.com) allows a child to shop online and, after an item or service has been selected, send the transaction details off to their parents for payment. The parent enters his or her card information to complete the transaction.

"With BillMyParents, a child cannot make a purchase without their parent's approval. You will be notified of each request," the site said. "You have control over what is purchased, how much is spent and even how many purchase requests your child can create. So, you can feel comfortable that your child is only buying items that you approve."
